What do you want to do?

So it's a brand new year for each of us.  It'll be a year composed of days filled with moments.  You will have great choice about how those moments are spent and how they are filled.  We live in a land that is based squarely on freedom, of movement---belief---relationship---opportunity.  Yet I suspect that many of us are letting the days pull us along as the current of a stream pulls a twig without resistance.  So, it is probably worth asking the question: What do you want to do?  If you could do anything, what would it be this year?  If we have all this freedom, then why don't we set ourselves a course that is free and unique to our personal situation.  If we truly can set our thoughts on whatever we choose, then what shall we purpose to set our minds on?  And if we have been found by the great savior, Jesus, to what extent shall we include and involve ourselves with Him?

Isaiah 46:8-11 Think about this. Wrap your minds around it.
This is serious business, rebels. Take it to heart.
Remember your history,
   your long and rich history.
I am God, the only God you've had or ever will have—
   incomparable, irreplaceable—
From the very beginning
telling you what the ending will be,
All along letting you in
on what is going to happen,
Assuring you, 'I'm in this for the long haul,
I'll do exactly what I set out to do,'

blessings,
Rob Smith
