rain comes

Rain comes from unseen vaults above,
To quench our thirst from courts of love.

So hot and dry we are alone,
We need the water from the throne.

Announced with thunder, sealed with flash
He pours refreshment with His hands.

We drink and wash and grow and plant
Because the rain is Heaven sent.

One day we'll see this source of love,
The One who sends rain from above.

Psalm 147:
Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving;
Sing praises on the harp to our God,
Who covers the heavens with clouds,
Who prepares rain for the earth,
Who makes grass to grow on the mountains.

blessings,
Rob Smith
