ocean voyage

Following men we walk up steps and climb aboard the vessel,
The boat that carries us through days...through unknown waters travels.

Our trust is in a captain's skill and knowledge of this ocean,
While we clean decks and tend the sails...salt air is now our potion.

The sea around all looks the same..sometimes rough...mostly plain,
But one day land ahead is seen...our trust fulfilled, our port attained...

We scarce can say what got us there...We didn't make the ship or air
or understand the currents fair.  We only scrubbed the decks and stared
at wonders of the sky and sea...

This trip is all such mystery!

Proverbs 30:18
There are three things that amaze me—
no, four things that I don't understand:
19 how an eagle glides through the sky,
how a snake slithers on a rock,
how a ship navigates the ocean,
how a man loves a woman.

blessings,
Rob Smith
