new born

Heaven was your starting place,

Eternity your home,

One day you entered time and space

and left your Father's throne.

A baby, you were born again

in flesh a child like us,

to grow up just like everyone

in the world you'd formed above.

Your task was to prepare the way

for us to find your home,

That we'd be born again one day,

to be forever known...

No longer just from earth, are we,

But children of your family.

Your birth has led to ours.

Matthew 1:²³ "Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us."
