Subject: Fallen tree
There is a fallen tree in the pond. It has been there for years. Trees were meant to stand tall but this tree fell. However, it fell into the pond and the surrounding water kept it alive and today it still sprouts branches even as it lies in the water. We may fall also, but the waters of the Lord will catch us and we can live and even sprout new growth despite some limitations. We were meant to stand tall and walk freely, but our bodies fail at times and our minds fail at times and our hearts may fail at times. We may find that we can no longer stand as we once did, but our limitations may provide new and unique ways for the Lord to nourish us, carry us and cause us to flourish. For He is the author of life.

Psalm 37:23 The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
when he delights in his way;
24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,
for the Lord upholds his hand.
when he delights in his way;
24 though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong,
for the Lord upholds his hand.
