Peaceful morning greets first light,

We have come through sleep and night.

Knowing not what lies ahead...

Shall we cope with fear and dread?

Or deny our deep concerns?

Run from trouble?...Take blind turns?

But peaceful morning reminds us true,

God in Heaven yet sees you too!

The light that breaks on nature's rest

proves He's here to bring His best.

And as He watched you while you slept,

Even so He'll guide your steps!

Peace will come despite the storms.

They rage outside His sheltering arms.

His new day...
