Romans 10:14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"

This passage seems to show the flow chart for faith in reverse. We'll break it down:
Gospel messengers sent out ("How beautiful are the feet...")
Gospel proclaimed ("someone preaching")
Gospel proclaimed ("someone preaching")
Gospel heard ("how are they to hear")
Gospel believed ("how are they to believe")
Call on God ("how will they call on him")
-
It seems we all have a role to play. Some are in the sending church. Some are the ones sent out. All need to hear the Gospel so that some will respond in faith. Ultimately, as the act of saving belief takes place and new life is conceived, we all rejoice as another is now calling on God in vital relationship.
-
These are challenging times, with social distancing to inhibit the spread of a deadly disease. But nothing can inhibit the spread of God's message of love and salvation as we still send, preach, hear and believe over every means available!
