Risen!

He is risen on this morn!

For this purpose was He born

and with Him too we'll rise to be

His brothers thru eternity.

Cut off from His Father's love,

Forever one they'd been above.

He was the one through whom God made

The earth, the stars, the sun, the shade.

-

and this Creation reels in pain

Sinful pride and Satan's gain

has split the very ones You formed

to walk with God as those adored

-

You would not leave us lost in shame

Your Son must come!

Your flock reclaimed;

Once more to bear your name.

-

Great purchases with pain must come;

Their value fixed in blood-spilt sum

Oh Lord we know your love so fine

That You, Your son would die-

-

To pay the price and forge the path

That we'd know life both here and past

our earthly end to Heaven fly-

We'll be with you and voices cry

Alleluia, Lamb, for me you died!
