Mark 4:26 And he said, "The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground. 27 He sleeps and rises night and day, and the seed sprouts and grows; he knows not how. 28 The earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. 29 But when the grain is ripe, at once he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come."

How amazing is it that seeds can be planted in the ground and, over a short time, they sprout and grow into crops that are harvested and become food. That same seed can do nothing until it is placed in the ground. And how amazing that the seed of God's Word can be planted in a heart and grow into a faith that restores one who is lost to the author of that Word. And so is Heaven populated in a miraculous way. As Romans tells us in chapter 10:17 "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ."
