Fw: touching Jesus

Mark 5:27 She had heard the reports about Jesus and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his garment. 28 For she said, "If I touch even his garments, I will be made well." 29 And immediately the flow of blood dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease. 30 And Jesus, perceiving in himself that power had gone out from him, immediately turned about in the crowd and said, "Who touched my garments?" 31 And his disciples said to him, "You see the crowd pressing around you, and yet you say, 'Who touched me?'"
-
A woman had suffered for years with a medical issue.  She'd spent all of her money on doctors but they'd been unable to help her.  She found Jesus in a crowd and was determined to make her way to him.  She wasn't looking for conversation or even a command from Jesus to make her well.  But she came with what she had...faith...she was convinced that if she touched Jesus she would be healed.
-
And even though a great number of people were also touching Jesus in the crowd, only this woman touched Him with faith's expectation...faith's hope.  And her faith was rewarded.
-
So are we just in the crowd that surrounds and jostles Jesus or do we also come out of our needs and with the kind of faith the woman had?  How do we come to Jesus?

"Death is inevitable.  Life is a choice!"

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."
