Romans 6:8 Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9 We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. 10 For the death he died he died to sin, once for all, but the life he lives he lives to God. 11 So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.

How certain are you of living forever? I believe that, until you are absolutely certain, the work of salvation has not fully reached you. When we are truly liberated from the fear of death....then we are freed to live life to the fullest!

The apostle John put it this way in 1 John 5:11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

The author of the book of Hebrews describes salvation this way: Hebrews 2:15 and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.

Either we live with the fear of death or the assurance of life. Where are you...in the realm of faith or of fear?
