What a blessing to neither have too much, nor too little! The two most challenging circumstances may be (1) desperate poverty and (2) surplus wealth. Desperate poverty suggests a continual battle with health, and the basics of survival...so much so that there is little of life experience remaining. Surplus wealth can lead one into a false sense of self reliance and satisfaction from that which can be purchased. It seems that there is a middle ground of experience where one has neither too little, nor too much. In this middle ground we learn the lesson of a faithful provider who meets our needs from Heaven and who provides a quality of life that is totally separate from anything that can be bought with currency. In this middle ground we find the blessing of the One who provides our daily bread.
Luke 11:3
Give us day by day our daily bread.blessings,
Rob Smith
