The book of Romans ends with the following passage:

Romans 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began 26 but now made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith— 27 to God, alone wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever. Amen.

We live on the far side of the greatest mystery and have the benefit of looking back to the beginning of time to read the story of God's plan for mankind and man's fall from intimacy with God. But woven through the story, God illustrates His ongoing love for man and His desire for people to know and follow Him. Woven in, also, is His promise to bring One who will heal the fracture, restore the relationship and intercede for men before God. And the mystery of faith continues in the actual presence of God within every sincere believer, who has become the temple of His Spirit.
