Last night I discovered a new phase of the moon. I had been familiar with the full moon, the half moon and the new moon. But last night the clear sky displayed the "smiling moon". The crescent shape was round on the bottom and the outline formed a perfect and full smile. I was reminded that the Lord really does love us. We wrestle with many issues and we deal with a sense of failure at times. We don't always please HIm and we don't always walk in victory. But I was reminded last night that just as the moon was smiling, so is He.
Psalm 136: 7-9 To Him who made the great lights,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting:
The sun to rule by day,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
The moon and stars to rule by night,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
For His lovingkindness is everlasting:
The sun to rule by day,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting,
The moon and stars to rule by night,
For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
blessings,
Rob Smith
