color from the ground

the gray of winter is changing now,

as the earth is warmed again.

the sun is pleased to longer dwell,

and extend its rule from heav'n

the land awakes from winter sleep,

and sends its spies to find

if now's the time to celebrate

new life!...cold winter's died.

 

world travels fast, from shrub to tree

The Creator is looking down!

once more He waits for the delight

of color from the ground.

Psalm 85:¹¹ Truth springs up from the earth,

      and righteousness smiles down from heaven.

Happy spring...season of our Lord's resurrection and

reminder of the miracle of new life extended to all.
