morning

Exodus 34:² So be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself to Me there on the top of the mountain.

There's something about a beautiful morning (and this morning is a beautiful clear one...that summer showers have ushered our way...see picture) that lends itself to fresh beginnings and realignment with God.  Before the interactions, distractions and actions of the busy business of bustling begins, a foundation for the day can start with the awesome opportunity to bow before our Creator.  And like Moses, from Exodus in chapter 24, we can go up to the Lord on the top of the mountain, where only He and we will stand.  And then we can go down and out into our day...recharged restored and renewed...and ready!
