reflection

How is it that we see more clearly in the reflection?  Perhaps it is because the reflection forces us to concentrate a little harder to see the source of the image.  A flat pond is a mirror that reflects its shoreline and a quiet heart is a mirror that reflects the image of our Creator.  I think that it is a good thing to come before Him and be still...that His reflection might be clearly impressed on the surface of our heart and leave an accurate impression in our mind.

Psalm 119:15 

I will study your commandments
    and reflect on your ways.
