If you are married, you are living inside of a miracle every day. Consider this passage from Mark:
Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of creation, 'God made them male and female.' 7 'Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, 8 and the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh. 9 What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."
-
Remember, when God formed woman in Creation, He took a rib from Adam's side and fashioned Eve. When Eve was brought to Adam he said: "This at last is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man."
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man."
-
So, in marriage, when woman joins man, truly two are becoming one...one completed person in a sense. That is why in a healthy marriage there is contentment. There is a completeness that doesn't seek more. That completeness is a fact that is established by God in His design. The fact that there are two heads and two perspectives and two sets of desires does not have to frustrate when they are designed to complement in completion.
-
We must not separate what God has joined. When we are challenged inside of our marriages let's go to Him, together, for the answers.
