2020 Vision

2 Corinthians 4:18 as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
-
It may seem a paradox, but believers in Christ are called to 'see' the 'unseen'.  If we are to see the unseen we must look with eyes that are not physical at objects that are not tangible.  What are these nonphysical eyes?
-
Faith...faith is where are spiritual sight is found.
-
2 Corinthians 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.
-
So faith is very practical...It is how we are to actually walk, or live out our day.
-
In a very real sense, we have not seen at all until faith is awakened.  Consider what Jesus said to Paul as he gave him a life purpose:
Acts 26:18 "to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
-
Many will say "Seeing is believing" when it comes to trusting in God.  It is more accurate to say "Believing is seeing"!
-
And the faith awakened by Christ becomes the faith of vision to walk ever closer with Him:
Colossians 2:6  Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith.

"Death is inevitable.  Life is a choice!"

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."
