truth

Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God proves true;
he is a shield to those who take refuge in him."
-
Matthew 7:28-29 "28 And when Jesus finished these sayings, the crowds were astonished at his teaching, 29 for he was teaching them as one who had authority..."
-
We are so surrounded by untruth (and at times infected with it) that we may not realize how we are tracking away from the path of life.  There is truth, just as there is right and, like a well that leads to sweet water, when we find truth we are refreshed and restored.
-
There are times when truth comes to us, or is revealed to us, and we recognize it...but choose to go our own way...possibly taking comfort that many are also going that way.  But deep within, we know that we are not aligned with what is best and what is right and true.
-
When Jesus walked with men, they were astonished at his teaching because it was full of truth and pierced to the core of their hearts.
-
When we have come to the place where we no longer drink from the shallow well of self but are satisfied by the deep well of eternal truth in Christ, we have come to the place of lasting peace.
-
John 6:35 Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.
John 8:31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."......36 "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed."
-
Truth liberates.  And Jesus is truth (John 14:Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.)

"Death is inevitable.  Life is a choice!"

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."
